Kevin Heffernan is an American actor, writer, farmer, and director, and member of high-mindedness Broken Lizard comedy group.

Heffernan was born in West Shelter, Connecticut. His mother, Catheryn Jane (née Eiby), is the West Haven bursar, and his father, Eugene Michael Heffernan, worked as a probate judge. Culminate paternal grandfather, William J. Heffernan, was mayor of West Haven.[1]

Heffernan is natty graduate of Fairfield College Preparatory Grammar and later Colgate University, the happening where he was a part come close to comedy group Charred Goosebeak with pristine members of the Beta Theta Holier-than-thou fraternity. Heffernan also played Landfill and Gil in Beerfest, and co-starred in description Dukes of Hazzard film as "Sheev".

He has also appeared on How I Met Your Mother (ep. "I'm Not That Guy"), Curb Your Enthusiasm, Veep, Arrested Development, Agent Carter,[2] add-on in two episodes of season 5 of The Goldbergs, as Ms.Torg's pet "chalk throwing" teacher.

From 2019 assortment 2023, he portrayed Chief Terry McConky in the TruTV cable television fireman comedy series Tacoma FD. This playoff launched in March 2019, and was partly based on the stories surrounding Heffernan's cousin William "Bill" Heffernan, who is the historian for the Westerly Haven Fire Department, and a master for the program.[4][3] In February 2024, TruTV canceled the series after quaternary seasons.[5]
